Meet Aline

I know that the season of becoming a mom is a vulnerable one. By sharing some of my background, I hope to start building a trusting relationship with you.

I have loved pregnancy, birth, postpartum and newborn care from as far back as I can remember. As a preteen I became good friends with a midwife who was in the season of life where she was having her own babies. As we were folding her laundry, I became enchanted with the love for maternal care through hearing many wonderful birth stories. A few years later, I worked for a summer in the maternal ward of a small Swiss hospital just so I could witness the miracle of birth.

My dream took me to Nursing School and only affirmed my passion for perinatal and infant care. My first job provided lots of experience with kids, as I worked in the pediatric ICU at UCLA Children’s Hospital until I had our first baby.

I took a break from full-time work while we added 5 more children to our tribe but couldn't quite stay away from birth work. I started coaching moms through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery. I then joined Haven Birth and Wellness, a homebirth practice, and the Vanderbilt Birth Center as a Labor & Delivery Nurse. Wanting to grow in my skills I became certified as a Spinning Babies® Aware Practitioner and a Body Ready Method™ Birth Professional.  My passion is in helping moms prepare for birth and supporting them through their pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. My desire is to come alongside you in your journey to encourage, empower, educate, and nurture you so that you experience positive results, a new sense of connection to your body and your baby and the feeling of confidence, strength, and preparation.
