Whether it is your first or your fifth, all services are designed with one goal in mind: a smooth pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery for you and your baby.

 

Bodywork

By using the skills I have gained as a Spinning Babies® Aware Practitioner, I offer bodywork to moms during pregnancy and the postpartum period. This is a trauma informed and physiological approach through healing touch, fascia release and movement to decrease and eliminate the aches and pains of pregnancy as well as restore balance to the pregnant body for better baby positioning and easier birth and recovery.

Baby Positioning

Using balancing bodywork and specific movements, I specifically focus on helping babies find their optimal position to support the mom-baby unit for a smoother birth. This approach is very gentle and is a great way to encourage babies to move out of a breech, transverse or posterior position as well as to prepare for an ECV, when one is needed.

Tailored Exercise Program

Based on the Body Ready Method™ approach and by having a deep understanding of how to help you prepare for your desired birth, I create a program of corrective exercises that is unique to you and your specific needs. Consistent work will help ease and prevent pregnancy related aches and pains, including pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic girdle pain (sacroiliac joint pain and /or symphysis pubis dysfunction) and issues with abdominal separation (diastasis recti). I also love to support moms into a smooth postpartum recovery by teaching them how to care for their body with a simple yet effective series of exercises.
